In recent years, there has been an increased scrutiny of foreign investment, which has resulted in expanded regulation and oversight of foreign investments in the U.S. and Europe. CFIUS, FIRRMA, FOCI, BEA, and AFIDA are all acronyms for U.S. regulations governing the reporting and approval for foreign investment in the U.S. and by U.S. companies abroad.
This event is intended to demystify the patchwork of U.S. regulations and reporting requirements for foreign ownership, control, influence, and investment in the U.S. and abroad, and to safeguard businesses from enforcement actions for failing to comply with such.
