The Chamber is continuing its partnership with the local FBI to present Economic Espionage . Economic Espionage rears its ugly head in many forms, mostly in the form of cyber security attacks. InfraGard, a partnership between the FBI and the private sector, will host a panel at the Chamber to discuss real world examples and share real-time advice.
Come hear about the threats that all businesses should be aware of and how to best protect against them. Panelists will describe the typical lifecycle of a cyber-security attack and give best practices on protecting yourself against hackers with real-world examples, what to look out for, and what tools can be used to protect your business.
Who Should Attend?
Why Should I Attend?
All small businesses are attractive to cyber criminals because they tend to be less secure and are loaded with customer information such as credit card info, personnel data or health-related information. Living in Huntsville/Madison County does not protect our businesses from cyber attacks. Hacking by automated systems allows the criminals to attack thousands of small businesses at once, which is easier than hacking through the more difficult security system of a large corporation.
Panel Members:
Jeremy Blevins, VISSP, ITIL, Cobham
David England, Incident Response Consultant, Dell SecureWorks
Michael Lee, Senior Software Engineer, Radiance Technologies
