DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Huntsville Madison County 9-1-1 Call System!\n\n\n\nHuntsville-Madison County 9-1-1 staff are among the most well-trained calltakers and emergency response coordinators in the world. In fact\, our call center was the 16th agency in the world to be recognized as an Accredited Center for Excellence (ACE) by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch.\n\n\n\nWe are Alabama's largest 9-1-1 center with over 36 operating positions. We currently house dispatch units for seven additional emergency agencies\, and will soon complete construction on our new building - allowing more agencies to embed dispatchers at our centralized location. Our dedicated personnel employ the most advanced communications and response coordination technology available.\n\n\n\nOur Mission: To utilize our highly trained staff and advanced technology to enable a reliable connection between citizen requests for emergency services and the appropriate emergency response.
