DESCRIPTION:Please note:  There will be an hour break for lunch.  Lunch is on your own.\n\n\n\nOBJECTIVE:\n\nThis workshop is designed to help participants become more effective managers of their time.\n\n\n\nDESCRIPTION:\n\nToo much to do\, working too many hours\, multi-tasking to get things done but it is still not enough? High levels of stress and poor productivity are eventual results. This course will help you identify strategies you can use to manage your time and optimize productivity. The key to managing your time and productivity is gaining control over the habits and activities that cause you to waste time and managing all the tasks you have to get done.\n\n\n\n Participants will learn how to prioritize\, plan and focus their time more effectively and use tools and techniques to eliminate productivity bottlenecks. Participants will also learn how their unique time style drives and affects their daily interactions and can assist in guiding improved productivity. In addition\, participants will develop an individualized action plan to support their new found skills in the workplace and to maintain an increased level of productivity and personal satisfaction . \n\n\n\nPARTICIPANTS WILL INCREASE THEIR ABILITY TO:\n\n\n	Appreciate the difference between time management\, productivity and self management.\n	Establish productivity habits by identifying and learning to focus on techniques that increase effectiveness.\n	Streamline and create workflow processes that help increase effectiveness as a professional.\n	Determine their time style and coordinate an effective time management system.\n	Identify productivity bottlenecks and causes of wasted time.\n	Adopt behavioral strategies and techniques to handle biggest time wasters.\n	Create productivity boosting work environments and use simple technology to maintain control.\n	Develop a personal action plan for mastering new techniques and applying to their work environment.\n\n\n\nPRE-CLASS WORK:\n\nPrior to class participants will be asked to record and maintain a time budget which will assist in identifying their own unique productivity bottlenecks.\n\n\n\nINSTRUCTIONAL METHODS USED IN CLASS\n\n\n	Large/Small Group Discussion\n	Lecture\n	Group Exercises\n	Role Play\n	Case Study\n	Assessment\n\n JOB AIDS\n\n\n	Each participant will have hands on opportunities to practice all skills and techniques.\n	Coaching and mentoring will take place throughout the sessions by the facilitator.\n	All participants will receive a workbook/reference manual.\n	Assessment report "What's My Time Style?"
