SUMMARY:MEMBER EVENT: The Autism Clinic at Hope new play area ribbon cutting
DESCRIPTION:A ribbon-cutting event\, hosted by Hope\, opens a brand-new play area! Over 15 volunteers from Avion Solutions and Crossflow Cares from Crossflow Technologies helped to install the new play area for the clients of The Autism Clinic at Hope. Months of planning and unprecedented partnerships make this a landmark achievement for the clients and families of The Autism Clinic at Hope.\n\n\n\nPlay helps children develop and strengthen the communication\, social interaction\, school readiness and motor skills that often challenge children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Funding has purchased play area equipment and materials to give each child the best opportunity to achieve his or her maximum potential for joyful relationships and community engagement.\n\n\n\nThe intended project outcomes are (1) to increase each child's pro-social skills by at least 25% and (2) to increase each child's pro-social play and physical activity engagement to at least 15% of their therapy time at The Autism Clinic at Hope. The project goal is for each child to develop and strengthen communication\, social interaction\, school readiness\, and motor skills.
