SUMMARY:MEMBER EVENT: Stop The Abuse Awareness Ride (STAAR)
DESCRIPTION:The 2015 STAAR is the inaugural ride benefiting Royal Family KIDS Camp 218\, who has been awarded a State of Alabama Governor's Commendation\, recognizing Royal Family KIDS Camp #218 for their dedication in confronting child abuse and helping to change the lives of abused\, neglected and abandoned kids in the State of Alabama. This is a statewide ride from Huntsville to Gulf Shores.\n\n\n\nStart in Huntsville or join the ride at any of the seven stops along the I-65 route\, as riders from all over the state ride bring awareness to the 5\,000 children in foster care in Alabama. All money raised from this event will go directly to fund the kids. All staff are unpaid volunteers.\n\n\n\nThe $40 per bike registration includes: the ride\, an official 2015 STAAR patch\, lunch at Heart of Dixie Harley Davidson in Pelham and a concert at Lucy Buffett's Lulu's in Gulf Shores. Discounted lodging is available through the Gulf Shores Sports Commission.\n\n\n\nSee our website for full information.
