DESCRIPTION:Modeled after the hit reality show\, "Dancing with the Stars\," Stars Dancing for HEALS features nine Stars from the community dancing with local ballroom instructors to raise funds for HEALS. The gala event will be held in the North Hall of the Von Braun Center for table sponsors and invited guests.\n\n\n\nEach Star will collect donations (votes) and corporate sponsorships for HEALS to reach their fundraising goal of $20\,000. Every dollar donated to HEALS counts as one vote. The Star who raises the most money for HEALS wins the 'Top Champion for Children" award. Our audience will select one Star as the 'Crowd Favorite' with their votes on the night of the event.\n\n\n\nYou have the opportunity to vote online now for your favorite! This is our 12th Annual event and we have a wonderful group of enthusiastic Stars brave enough to fund-raise and dance in support of the children at HEALS!\n\n\n\n\n\nHEALS\, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Huntsville\, Alabama dedicated to providing accessible quality\, school-based primary health care for children through collaborative efforts with the Huntsville City/Madison County school systems and the medical community. By providing on-site medical\, dental\, optometry care\, and social services at our participating schools\, HEALS\, Inc. makes an immediate difference in the lives of many children.
