DESCRIPTION:The College of Nursing at UAH is proud to host the second annual community Symposium for Health Innovation and Neighborhood Engagement. This local and statewide gathering of changemakers is designed to confront today's most urgent healthcare disparities and light the way toward healthier communities. SHINE empowers\, supports\, and connects local healthcare professionals\, elected officials\, nonprofit leaders\, residents\, and community stakeholders to share best practices\, spark innovation\, and drive actionable change.\n\n\n\nThis year features a major community health announcement\, keynote speaker Dr. Tisamarie Sherry of the Urban Institute\, and panels on healthcare focus topics such as maternal/infant health\, veterans health\, and mental health led faculty researchers and distinguished guests. The event concludes with an expert discussion on AI in healthcare and a networking reception.\n\n\n\nThe public is invited to be part of the movement to "Light the Way to Health for All" and join the Huntsville community at SHINE!
