DESCRIPTION:The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) will hold an open house to kick off the fall 2023 semester on Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon in the lobby of Wilson Hall on the UAH campus. UAH is a part of the University of Alabama System.\n\n\n\nCurrent and prospective OLLI members\, family\, friends and the community are invited to learn more about this group of lifelong learners age 50 and up as well as register for the fall term\, which starts Sept. 11. Guests can meet OLLI staff\, instructors and members of the curriculum committee\; check out the facilities\, and find out more about the 60 courses on the fall schedule. There will also be door prizes.\n\n\n\nOLLI at UAH members enjoy staying intellectually and socially active through courses\, social activities\, bonus lectures\, travel opportunities\, MIGs (Membership Interest Groups) and more. Courses cover a wide variety of topics\, including history\, literature\, music\, foreign languages\, exercise\, science and philosophy.
