DESCRIPTION:Haunt for Hope is a fundraiser supporting Dysautonomia International. Come out to Straight to Ale and enjoy the music of Ally Free and The Wolves of Chernobyl\, enjoy food and drink\, and donate to a great cause by participating in the raffle and silent auction!\n\n\n\nDysautonomia is any disorder of the autonomic nervous system. It can occur alone or secondary to other common illnesses such as diabetes and lupus. POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) is a common form of Dysautonomia and is characterized by an increase in heart rate of more than 30 beats per minute upon standing. Symptoms of POTS are widely varied\, but can include palpitations\, dizziness\, nausea\, fatigue\, difficulty concentrating\, fainting\, sweating\, etc. An estimated 1 million Americans suffer from POTS\, primarily young women. Teens rate of getting POTS is 1 in 100. The cause of POTS is still not understood and there is no known cure.\n\n\n\nCome have some spooky fun while raising awareness of Dysautonomia at the Haunt for Hope event at Straight to Ale Brewery!
