DESCRIPTION:This year our 4th Annual Green Tie Bash will be held during the Energy Huntsville Rocket City Summit at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Come enjoy an elegant evening with dinner\, drinks\, and a silent auction. We will be honoring our Champions of Energy.\n\n\n\nA Champion of Energy is an individual\, business\, nonprofit\, or other organization that has chosen to make saving energy a priority in their living and work spaces. These "champions\," as we like to call them\, are leading the way for others who will hopefully follow their example and make the decision to save energy themselves.\n\n\n\nKeynote speaker: Mohammed A. Khan\, Jr.\, the Senior Vice President of the Defense Business Unit at Aerojet Rocketdyne.\n\n\n\nFor more information\, click HERE.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout Nexus Energy Center:\n\nThe Nexus Energy Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that administers programs to build smarter energy communities in Alabama. One of our most successful programs\, the Comfort Project\, assists fixed income\, disabled\, elderly\, and underserved residents in Alabama by implementing home upgrades that permanently lower utility costs. In addition to lowered cost of living\, participants also see a significant improvement in overall health and quality of life.
