DESCRIPTION:Join us at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center for a once in a lifetime experience! On August 21\, 2017\, the Moon will move between the Sun and Earth\, creating a Total Solar Eclipse and the Rocket Center is hosting a special event to mark the occasion.\n\n\n\nAll of North Alabama will glimpse a partial solar eclipse where the moon will cover 97% of the sun's disk\, giving us a rare view of the corona   the sun's outermost atmosphere.\n\n\n\nTickets are available for pre-order in our online shop. Admission for this special occasion is $15 per person and includes a barbecue lunch plate and viewing glasses.\n\n\n\nGroups can take advantage of the usual group rate of $13 per person. This will include the viewing glasses\, and a box lunch can be added at the regular price of $7.50 per person. For group bookings\, please email us at museumgroups@spacecamp.com. Groups must meet the minimum requirement of 15 participants.
