DESCRIPTION:The Alabama Cooperative Extension System's Urban Affairs and New Nontraditional Programs unit invites the public to attend an open house titled Extension Day on the Hill in the James I. Dawson Building on the campus of Alabama A&M University (AAMU). The theme for the September event is "A Call to Service".\n\n\n\nThe public will have a chance to engage in interactive demonstrations and talk to Cooperative Extension staff firsthand about programs and services offered across the state. A press conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. featuring public officials\, AAMU and Extension administrators\, a short video\, a balloon release\, and so much more!
