SUMMARY:MEMBER EVENT: Eric Essix MOVE>Trio in concert!
DESCRIPTION:You don't want to miss the country fried fusion of jazz\, blues and funk performed by these three extraordinary artists in our intimate concert venue!\nRenowned guitarist Eric Essix\, hailing from Birmingham\, has performed with some of the biggest names in the contemporary jazz world including Jeff Lorber\, Gerald Albright\, Ronnie Laws\, Phil Perry\, Boney James\, Everret Harp\, Peabo Bryson\, Marcus Miller\, Eric Darius\, Alex Bugnon\, Marcus Johnson\, Peter White\, Mindi Abair and others.\n\n\n\nThe MOVE TRIO is a lean\, agile and inventive ensemble that is as fun to watch as it is to hear. While Eric may be at the head of MOVE as it's leader and composer\, the heart of the group that beats steady and true is drummer\, James "PJ" Spraggins. PJ has performed and/or recorded with Ronnie Laws\, Stevie Wonder\, Randy Owen\, The Blind Boys of Alabama\, and many more. PJ brings a strong sense of groove\, musicality and dynamics to the trio.\n\n\n\nIf PJ is the heart of the band\, MOVE's Grammy-nominated producer and multi-instrumentalist from Huntsville\, Kelvin Wooten is truly its soul. Kelvin plays electric bass guitar and keyboards. His ability to play complex multiple parts on the keyboards in real time amazes audiences everywhere the group performs.\n\n\n\nThe debut album by Eric Essix's MOVE TRIO\, recorded in legendary Muscle Shoals is set for a Summer 2015 release on the Essential Recordings label followed by international and domestic tour dates well into 2016.
