Argentina will explore the 12 Principles of Animation laid out by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston in their book "The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation". Entertaining clips will be shown and analyzed to demonstrate the principles in action.\n\n\n\nWhile these principles alone are not a perfect formula for creating successful animations\, they are essential elements for not just creating motion\, but the illusion of life. Argentina is an Assistant Professor of Art\, Animation\, and Game Design for The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Presentation is free for all (general admission required to visit the galleries).
