It is hosted by the UNCF North Alabama Campaign Committee and Oakwood University. Sponsors include\; UNCF member school alumni\, local corporations\, civic groups\, the faith community\, and individuals.\n\n\n\nIts purpose is to involve those who support higher education\, the 37 UNCF member colleges and universities\, and to encourage the participation of volunteers\, public officials\, and other leaders who believe in the UNCF mission of providing college access and opportunity to minority youth. The UNCF North Alabama Campaign will host award winning\, Grammy-nominated Jonathan Butler and special award recipient Tom Joyner.
