DESCRIPTION:A grand Huntsville tradition - Appreciating the beauty of Monte Sano Nature Preserve with family and friends on Thanksgiving morning! We'll burn some extra calories and walk down Alms House Trail to Historic Three Caves. Then\, drivers will be ferried back to our Bankhead hiker's parking lot. (Or\, you may make the round trip up the mountain.) Please bring water and cameras. Dogs on leads are welcome! Directions: Take Pratt Avenue through Five Points to Bankhead Parkway on Monte Sano. Drive up the mountain past Tollgate Road. The Land Trust's hiker parking lot is 1/2 mile further on right.
