DESCRIPTION:Join Invisible Warriors at the Silent No More Gala where we'll be elevating the visibility of women who have served in the military\, recognizing and appreciating the service they have rendered since Revolutionary War days.\n\n\n\nA night filled with entertainment\, camaraderie\, and inspiration!\n\n	Formal Attire\, Sit-Down Buffet Dinner & Silent Auction\n	Keynote Speaker: Lesley-Anne Crumpton\, Observer/Advisor for the Integration of Women into Army Ranger School\n	Dancing to the Twickenham Jazz Band will follow the formalities\n\n\n\n\nKEYNOTE SPEAKER:\n\nFormer Captain Lesley-Anne Crumpton served for eight years on active duty with the US Army as a Military Police Officer. She served one tour in Afghanistan with Joint Special Operations Command in 2012-13. CPT Crumpton assisted with integrating women into the US Army Ranger School for the first time in history in 2015. She completed her time in service as a Company Commander with 502nd Military Police Battalion\, Criminal Investigation Command in 2018.\n\n\n\nCPT Crumpton grew up in Madison\, AL\, and graduated from Bob Jones High School and received her bachelor's from UAHuntsville in Political Science and her MA in Public Affairs and Policy. She also graduated with an MA in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.\n\n\n\nCPT Crumpton currently works for Polaris Industries as a Security Specialist and works closely with local law enforcement. She enjoys riding her Indian motorcycle and serving at Decatur Baptist Church in the choir.\n\n \n\n\nWomen Veterans Recognition Day\, observed annually on June 12\, honors the contributions of female veterans\, often seen as "Invisible Warriors."
