DESCRIPTION:The Huntsville/Madison County Chamber will host a Zoom call with Hiring Our Heroes on March 2 from 2-3 p.m.\, and we invite you to register HERE to join us. This initiative launched through the U.S. Chamber in March 2011 as a nationwide effort to connect veterans\, service members\, and military spouses with meaningful employment opportunities.\n\n\n\nLearn about how you can hire a fellow as he or she is transitioning out of the military and see if they're a good fit for you. The salary and benefits will be covered by the Department of Defense for the duration of the program.  We are looking for at least 10 companies to join the Corporate Fellows program this year.\n\n\n\nRead about a service member recently hosted by Lockheed Martin in Huntsville   we featured this in the Chamber's April 2020 issue of Initiatives magazine.
