DESCRIPTION:In celebration of the role that Redstone Arsenal plays in the defense of our nation and the economic impact that it has on our region\, the Chamber hosts a series of Armed Forces Celebration events in June. The Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon is the signature event of the celebration activities.\n\n\n\nRedstone is the home of the four-star Army Materiel Command and a dozen other Army Commands and Offices\, as well as offices for the Missile Defense Agency and the Defense Intelligence Agency. More than 43\,000 people work on Redstone\, and over $50 billion in federal budgets are managed on the base.\n\n\n\n \nLUNCHEON SPEAKER\n\n\n\n\nLieutenant General Christopher O. Mohan\n\nDeputy Commanding General and Acting Commander\, U.S. Army Materiel Command\n\n\n\nRedstone Arsenal Senior Commander\n\n\n\nLTG Chris Mohan assumed duties as the Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Materiel Command on 2 December 2022. In his role\, he is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Army's logistics enterprise.
