DESCRIPTION:Important Information for those attending Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon (Updated on July 29\, 2021)\n\n\n\nCDC guidelines recommend masks be worn by both vaccinated and unvaccinated people attending large indoor gatherings in areas with a greater than 100/100\,000 infection rate. Unfortunately\, we fall into this category of high virus transmission. \n\n\n\nPlease plan to wear your mask to the lunch and at all times that you are not actively eating or drinking. We will provide masks for those who forget to bring their own. \n\n \n\nHuntsville Hospital will have a vaccination booth set up upstairs in Salon 1\, after the luncheon\, for anyone who would like the opportunity to get vaccinated. They will have Pfizer vaccines. There is no cost for this\, and you are welcome to go and ask questions as well.\n\n\n\nWe will also have red wrist bands for those people who would prefer not to have physical contact with other luncheon guests. Please pick up a wrist band on your way into the luncheon if you'd prefer not to shake hands or exchange hugs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is pleased to host the Armed Forces Celebration Luncheon every year\, to recognize the role that Redstone Arsenal plays in the defense of our nation and the economic impact that it has on our region. The Luncheon will feature Lieutenant General Flem B. "Donnie" Walker\, Deputy Commander of U.S. Army Materiel Command\, as the keynote speaker. \n\n\n\nRedstone Arsenal is a 38\,000-acre federal installation that is home to more than 70 organizations including the U.S. Army\, NASA\, the FBI and many other organizations. More than 43\,000 people work on Redstone\, and the Arsenal serves as the nation's nerve center for the U.S. Army aviation\, missile\, missile defense\, and space exploration programs. Total budgets managed at Redstone exceed $50 billion. With more than $7 billion spent in the community\, Madison County is ranked #7 in the nation for military spending.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLieutenant General Flem B.
