We're partnering with Alabama A&M University's Center for Entrepreneurship\, Innovation and Economic Development for this exciting class. This presentation will focus on effective ways you can improve compliance to help grow your business. \n\n\n\nThis class is intended for those looking to start a new business as well as current business owners.\n\n\n\nPresenters:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAndrea Cunningham\, Ph.D.\, Director\, Title II Grants Project\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTorin Malone\, MS\, Grants Specialist\n\nAlabama A&M University \n\n\n\n\n\nMore about the speakers:\n\nAndrea J. Cunningham\, Ph. D\n\nAndrea J. Cunningham has over 20 years of higher education and corporate experience. She has worked in several capacities at Alabama A&M University (AAMU). Her previous positions include Executive Assistant in the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs\, where she was responsible for an array of administrative tasks\, and Executive Assistant to the President where she was responsible for the overall operations of the office. Cunningham currently serves as the Director of Title III Strengthening Grants Program at AAMU. In her role\, she ensures that all aspects of grants\, funded by the Department of Education\, comply with federal regulations. Cunningham also serves on the Board of the AAMU Foundation. \n\n\n\nTorin Malone\, MS\n\nTorin Malone has worked in the area of grant management in higher education for over twenty years. He has experience in the units of Sponsored Programs\, Institutional Research and Planning\, and Title III Grants. He has worked in the areas of institutional research\, web development\, and graphic design all while gaining more knowledge and professional development in grant management. Malone routinely generated and delivered presentations for the Office of Sponsored Programs and Title III Grants at Alabama A&M University\, where he is currently employed. He has a Master's degree in the area of Communications Specialist (with a business concentration)\, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Business Administration with aspirations of teaching\, specifically\, in the area of business leadership and communication.
