DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.\n\n\n\nThe Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County Membership Meeting is the Chamber's largest annual event and gives an overview of the Chamber's many activities and successes throughout the year.\n\n\n\nRobert Mayes\, 2014 Chair of the Board of Directors\, will pass the gavel to the Chair-elect Rey Almod var. Also presented will be the Distinguished Service Award\, the highest honor the Chamber bestows to a deserving volunteer in the Huntsville/Madison County community.\n\n\n\nOur keynote speaker\, General Michael V. Hayden\, will be discussing the Global Dynamics Affecting the United States.\n\n\n\n\nGen. Hayden has served as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency\, he was responsible for overseeing the collection of information concerning the plans\, intentions and capabilities of America's adversaries\; producing timely analysis for decision makers\; and conducting covert operations to thwart terrorists and other enemies of the U.S. \n\nBefore becoming Director of the CIA\, Gen. Hayden served as the country's first Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence and was the highest-ranking intelligence officer in the armed forces. Earlier\, he served as Commander of the Air Intelligence Agency\, Director of the Joint Command and Control Warfare Center\, Director of the National Security Agency and Chief of the Central Security Service. \n\nGen. Hayden graduated from Duquesne University.
