Cavender’s Western Outfitter Grand Opening Celebration and Sale

Tyler, Texas, August 2, 2017 – The Cavender family announces the Grand Opening celebration and sale of their new Huntsville, Alabama store located at 7025 Cabela Drive.

The Grand Opening will be held August 4 and August 5, 2017. A ribbon cutting by the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber is scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, August 4. The festivities will begin on Friday at 9:00 am; are open to the public and include appearances by the Cavender’s Cowboy, a 10’ tall cowboy on stilts who is also a balloon artist and entertainer, Chuck Wagon BBQ lunch and much more throughout the day from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Cavender’s gift cards will be given to the first 50 customers on Friday and Saturday and there will be drawings for great prizes for everyone!
This is the first store in Alabama. The 18,000 sq. ft. store houses Cavender’s full line of men’s, women’s and children’s western apparel. Cavender’s is famous for its large selection of handcrafted western boots and also carries hats, shirts, jeans, dresses, belts, and has western accent accessories. Cavender’s also has work boots and apparel.

The company is a family owned and operated retailer out of Tyler, Texas with 78 stores located across 10 states. Cavender’s is truly a family operation, with founder, James and wife Pat and sons Joe, Mike and Clay involved in the day-to-day operations. The family lives the western lifestyle, operating five working ranches in Texas and Oklahoma with registered Brangus and Charolais cattle.

Joe Cavender, President of Cavender’s says the company anticipates a great response from the Greater Jackson community with the new store.  “We are looking forward to being in Huntsville and have appreciated the warm welcome from the community,” says Cavender. There are plans to open in Denton, Texas later in 2017. Cavender’s Boot City and Cavender’s Western Outfitters have become synonymous with the well-dressed cowboy and cowgirl.
