About Us
United Way of Madison County is a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 entity founded in 1943 by local community volunteers. Local volunteers continue to govern our United Way. We serve as a grass roots strategic community-builder and convener of resources. Because of the local support of our fundraising efforts our community leaders and volunteers are able to allocate funds to local programs that address targeted health and human service needs in our community.
