This seminar will provide a high-level overview of the Business Development Process for Small Business Government Contractors seeking subcontracting and smaller Prime Contracts, as well as teaming arrangements with other small contractors and large primes. Understand the value of participating in the GSA Schedule and micro purchases through the government's credit card purchasing program.
Participants will also learn about available business development resources and tools to help optimize and manage the process.

Companies and individuals new to – or with little experience in – government contracting at the Federal level.
Instructor:
Foster Perry has been the Director of the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) since 2012. Prior to his current position, Foster spent 23 years working in Business and Organizational Development for a large Aerospace and Defense Contractor as well as 11 years in International Business Development for a large conglomerate in Latin America. Foster has taught International Business and Management Principles as an Adjunct Faculty Member at UAH since 2002.
